Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bruno Luzaide took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jimeno Henric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Eustacio Rosalio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guerreros Aztecas F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catuna FC the free kick. In the 17th minute, Raimundo Dantae reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romeo Padro. The goal made the score 1-0. Catuna FC's Eriberto Lauaxeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Henric in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Jimeno Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Catuna FC's zone, Jimeno Henric stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Lauaxeta came out of the goal and Jimeno Henric tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Sandaili, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Romeo Padro made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Raimundo Dantae sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Catuna FC's Ambrosio Oidor got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Guerreros Aztecas F.C.'s Romeo Padro got control of the ball when Hugo Sandaili tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romeo Padro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Luzaide's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Guerreros Aztecas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Luzaide came free, but Romeo Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Henric stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guerreros Aztecas F.C.! Nereo Beti walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Raimundo Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Lauaxeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Cordaro in the 62nd minute. Eustacio Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, Guerreros Aztecas F.C.'s Isaac Madeo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 96 minutes, Ivan Haritzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catuna FC and the Guerreros Aztecas F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guerreros Aztecas F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
