After having played for 20 minutes, Aureliano Frechoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maquinchao AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Frechoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Maquinchao AFC's Andres Iyan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Teodosio Lando. Maquinchao AFC's Rene Uhin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Savion in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Celso Florinio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Uhin. Maquinchao AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Florinio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Maquinchao AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Aureliano Frechoso hit a great ball. Celso Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rene Uhin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Daydreamers's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Garcia came free, but Teodosio Lando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Martin Inge came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Maquinchao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Inge couldn't finish the play. The referee gave Maquinchao AFC a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andres Iyan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Daydreamers's Teodosio Lando. 4-1. Teodosio Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Freddy Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Teodosio Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Freddy Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maquinchao AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Lando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Lando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The supporters of Daydreamers booed when Maquinchao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
