The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Tartagal's Alejandro Arixo got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes Astana Pro Team got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Gilabert. Andres Unax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Gilabert in the 17th minute of the match. If Walmyr Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Gilabert in the 26th minute of play forced Tartagal's goalkeeper Andres Unax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Gilabert in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Unax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Maximo Gilabert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Unax was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Tartagal's zone, Jorge Rufo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Unax came out of the goal and Jorge Rufo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Gilabert in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Unax saved Tartagal from getting behind. If Maximo Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 44 in the game by Maximo Gilabert from a close distance when the talented Andres Unax managed to make a qualified save. Tartagal's players were relieved. Feliberto Quintun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Alvarez in the 48th minute of the match.

Feliberto Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Urdaspal in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Astana Pro Team's zone, Domingos Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Quintun came out of the goal and Domingos Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astana Pro Team's Walmyr Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Walmyr Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Astana Pro Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Gerber couldn't finish the play. Andres Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Unax having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game Maximo Gilabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tartagal's Andres Unax was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Maximo Gilabert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Unax was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Andres Unax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Gerber in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Tartagal getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alejandro Arixo hit a great ball. Maximo Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Unax having to interfere. Astana Pro Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
