The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Fausto Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the REVELACION AGUILA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. Donato Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Gaizkine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Cheche hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of Girondo booed when REVELACION AGUILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Girondo's Aaron Clementi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Girondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Oriche to maneuver through the defense. In the 22ndth minute of the game Fausto Gaizkine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Girondo's Donato Heli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Alvaro Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REVELACION AGUILA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Martxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Gaizkine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Heli having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Fausto Gaizkine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donato Heli. The goal made the score 1-0. Donato Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Gaizkine, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Enrique Louis might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Heli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Louis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute, Hilario Oriche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Girondo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Poncio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, REVELACION AGUILA's Benjamin Beltxe got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Fausto Gaizkine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Heli having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Clementi got free with Placido Gelacio in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 minutes, Niceto Veto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REVELACION AGUILA and the Girondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Girondo booed when REVELACION AGUILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Fausto Gaizkine made a precise shot to the right of Donato Heli. Girondo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Aaron Clementi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. REVELACION AGUILA's Fausto Gaizkine got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. REVELACION AGUILA's Santos Asteri got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Heli came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by REVELACION AGUILA's Fausto Gaizkine. But to his dismay, Fausto Gaizkine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Gaizkine in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Heli prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
