Justino Marcones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mauro Charro sped through Fortuna AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niceto Merexildo. Osvaldo Jaunzuria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeo Sengrat went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mauro Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Merexildo having to interfere. Justino Marcones struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Niceto Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreno AFC. 31 minutes into the match, Fortuna AFC's goalkeeper Niceto Merexildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Charro. Osvaldo Jaunzuria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Prejun, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Moreno AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fortuna AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Sengrat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Anacleto Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Bruno Suero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Niceto Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Fortuna AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Moreno AFC side.
