Fernando Txordon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Bingen during the 21st minute. FC San Lorenzo's Gerardo Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Martinez in the 24th minute of play. Gerardo Eudoxio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Lizardi got free with Gerardo Eudoxio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, FC San Lorenzo's Delmiro Maria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Txordon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Chayo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Txordon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the match, FC San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Gerardo Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Lizardi. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Martinez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FC San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Quintan to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes of play, Ushuaia's Fermin Lizardi made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 65th match minute, Ushuaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Iigo to maneuver through the defense. FC San Lorenzo's Gerardo Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Martinez in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81st minute Adrian Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Eudoxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Ushuaia's Epifanio Bingen got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ushuaia's Godfredo Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Ferman hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Godfredo Eriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC San Lorenzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Eriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Txordon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Maria's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC San Lorenzo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ushuaia.
