The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emiliano Aznaro struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Tomás Roldan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. SANCTORUM TLAX.. The supporters of F.C. SANCTORUM TLAX. booed when Cerrito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Llanos in the 8th minute of play. Emiliano Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tomás Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Damaso Llanos put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Roldan. 21 minutes into the match, Cerrito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Izotz came free, but Tomás Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias James recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Llanos in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Roldan saved Cerrito AFC from getting behind. Tomás Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Izotz in the 26th minute of play. Damaso Llanos in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Roldan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32nd minute, Cerrito AFC's Lino Silbestre seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lino Silbestre the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cerrito AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lino Silbestre had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Lino Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Damaso Llanos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Tomás Roldan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Urritz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomás Roldan, 3-0. With a little luck, Cerrito AFC's Tomás Roldan got control of the ball when Primitivo Brun tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Tomás Roldan managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when F.C. SANCTORUM TLAX.'s Damaso Llanos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damaso Llanos made a kick off. Isaias James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tomás Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Isaias James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. SANCTORUM TLAX.'s Damaso Llanos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cerrito AFC. The audience was convinced that Damaso Llanos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Roldan was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Tomás Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Urritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tomás Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias James might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias James ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomás Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Llanos in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrito AFC's goalkeeper Tomás Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Roldan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Llanos's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Damaso Llanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Roldan having to interfere. Primitivo Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Roldan having to interfere. F.C. SANCTORUM TLAX.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
