The audience thought a goal was coming when Clifford Trüssel got free with Baltasar Garin in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Marciano Weather made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Garin. Tablillas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 14 minutes, Jonas Cambranes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albinegros de Orizaba and the Tablillas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tablillas AFC booed when Albinegros de Orizaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Cambranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Garin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clifford Trüssel in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Albinegros de Orizaba's Clifford Trüssel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Garin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clifford Trüssel got in the 23rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Baltasar Garin handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Clifford Trüssel made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tablillas AFC's Baltasar Garin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Clifford Trüssel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Vistruario in the 31st minute of play forced Tablillas AFC's goalkeeper Baltasar Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Garin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clifford Trüssel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Garin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Tablillas AFC's Baltasar Garin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Tablillas AFC from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Marciano Weather cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Baltasar Garin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Playo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Albinegros de Orizaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Vistruario to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Garin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clifford Trüssel in the 54th minute of the match. Albinegros de Orizaba's Clifford Trüssel got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Guillen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Garin having to make a save. 65 minutes into the game, Albinegros de Orizaba's Clifford Trüssel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Garin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clifford Trüssel in the 70th minute of play forced Tablillas AFC's goalkeeper Baltasar Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Garin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Weather, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Baltasar Garin came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Albinegros de Orizaba's Jacinto Vistruario. But to his dismay, Jacinto Vistruario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 89th minute Marciano Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
