Osvaldo Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Teyo in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute Remigio Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Indartsu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ibarlucea's Mauro Silvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ibarlucea from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Ibarlucea's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romulo Lain fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 21st match minute, Ibarlucea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Argenis to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mauro Silvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibarlucea's Mauro Silvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ibarlucea from getting a goal against them. If Luisito Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Silvino having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Romulo Lain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibarlucea's Mauro Silvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Rodolfo Indartsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Tadzio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Romulo Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Philipps's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Lain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Silvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Hilario Argi made the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Kimetz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Maximo Filipo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Silvino skillfully saved the ball. If Luisito Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luisito Bladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mauro Silvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibarlucea's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 77th minute of the game, when Ramon Fanuco after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Philipps's goal. Ramon Fanuco was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. If Romulo Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Curcio during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julian Curcio hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ibarlucea defense, Luisito Bladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Silvino. The Ibarlucea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Silvino should have stopped the shot. Luisito Bladi might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Silvino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisito Bladi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Ibarlucea's zone, Luisito Bladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Silvino came out of the goal and Luisito Bladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
