The referee ignored Tusaquilla FC's protests and gave Ubaldo Gutxi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tusaquilla FC's Ubaldo Gutxi got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ismael Maraman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Presebal's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the game, New England's Nicasio Presebal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Maraman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Presebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Maraman was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, New England's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Gutxi came free, but Tobias Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of New England booed when Tusaquilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Gutxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Guillem scored 0-4 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Maraman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Presebal made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Presebal couldn't finish the play. Ismael Maraman came out of the goal and Hernan Vistruario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. New England played a much better game than Tusaquilla FC and deserved their victory. The Tusaquilla FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
