But to his dismay, Agustin Resto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Elpidio Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Lleir in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Helvecia FC's Bernardo Brun got control of the ball when Agustin Resto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Everardo Larra hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Severiano Reynardo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Agustin Resto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Bernardo Brun made a huge save. The supporters of Helvecia FC booed when Fredriksson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Hitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Agustin Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Gamus was the one to do the kick off. Agustin Resto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bernardo Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Helvecia FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ruben Kimetz hit a great ball. If Agustin Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Lleir charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Lleir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fredriksson AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Lucio Lleir hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Fredriksson AFC's Agustin Resto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Brun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Helvecia FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Macias. In the 84th minute of the match Everardo Larra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Brun skillfully saved the ball. After 85 played minutes Helvecia FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Asur. Lucio Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Brun having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Everardo Larra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helvecia FC's Domingo Fortun managed to work through Fredriksson AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Domingo Fortun dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Elpidio Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Argina having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
