But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Bastiaro couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Birjaio in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Jacob got free with Emiliano Kimetz in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fuerzas Básicas CoCoYuL getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Isidro Santo hit a great ball. Hugo Jacob came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emiliano Kimetz could save by the left post. Fuerzas Básicas CoCoYuL's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Bastiaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 84 minutes of play, Palmira's Serafino Rexino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Kimetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 played minutes Fuerzas Básicas CoCoYuL got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Santo. 94 minutes into the game, Fuerzas Básicas CoCoYuL's Martin Bastiaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Pinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Palmira's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
