Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Herlitzka AFC's Jonas Petri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jacinto Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Genaro Tiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 minutes of play, Herlitzka AFC's Jonas Petri made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Tiso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Victorio Cordara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Chorche. Herlitzka AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Cordara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Jonas Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herlitzka AFC's Jacinto Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Petri got free with Genaro Tiso in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Chavarría's Genaro Tiso got control of the ball when Paulino Guib tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chavarría's Genaro Tiso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Chavarría from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Herlitzka AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Porfiro came free, but Norberto Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacinto Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Hilario Chuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Petri succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 46th playminute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Cordara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Chavarría's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Bernat came free, but Genaro Tiso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chavarría's zone, Jacinto Bernat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Tiso came out of the goal and Jacinto Bernat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Jacinto Bernat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chavarría's Genaro Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Petri in the 75th minute of play. When Gregorio Etxekopar fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chavarría's protests and gave Gregorio Etxekopar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Herlitzka AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Harri to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Jonas Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herlitzka AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Petri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Petri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herlitzka AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
