After a rather tough play, Sport club's Fabian Rosalio got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Fabian Rosalio had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Augusto Bras fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilino's protests and gave Augusto Bras a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Bras hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes Sport club got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Harriet. If Florentino Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Tadzio was the one to do the kick off. Sport club's Geronimo Donzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sport club from getting a goal against them. Teofilo Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Donzel having to interfere. Quilino's Cosme Sidoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Formerio in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Teodosio Libertad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Formerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sport club getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Conrado Pedroso hit a great ball. In the 70th match minute, Sport club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Harriet to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Teofilo Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Sidoro having to interfere. In the 87th minute Teofilo Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Nunez Presebal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cosme Sidoro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Florentino Efren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cosme Sidoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
