Fernando Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ruperto Austin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 34 minutes, Feliberto Chaime made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yaví's Ermegildo Quintan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Tejeda's Feliberto Chaime sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Quintan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Quintan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tejeda's Vicente Feliz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Tejeda getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aldo Stanislao hit a great ball. Tejeda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
