In the 37th minute Modesto Orlondon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Nóbrega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Laureano Hug was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Fulgencio Mancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Modesto Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Orlondon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Hug read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Nóbrega got free with Laureano Hug in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute of the match, Modesto Orlondon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laureano Hug saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Aureliano Sein fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored R.K. cf's protests and gave Aureliano Sein a yellow card for diving instead. The throw-in from Jesus Jakes in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by xonotla's Fulgencio Mancio. xonotla's Modesto Orlondon suffered a concussion after 76 minutes and had to leave the field. xonotla's Teodosio Larra was substituted for Modesto Orlondon. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Larra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Hug was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After 82 minutes, Fulgencio Mancio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the xonotla and the R.K. cf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fulgencio Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match.
