After a defensive mix-up in Carnerito's zone, Paolo Sauveur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Firman came out of the goal and Paolo Sauveur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paolo Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Fulgencio Firman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Geronimo Mikeldi charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Mikeldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carnerito booed when Chavarría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Mikeldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Osmundo in the 24th minute of play forced Chavarría's goalkeeper Paolo Moise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Moise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Haritz in the 27th minute of play. When Ignacio Inguma fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chavarría's protests and gave Ignacio Inguma a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carnerito booed when Chavarría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Inguma didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Ignacio Inguma suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Victorio Xacintu charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 35th match minute, Carnerito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Firman having to interfere. When Carnerito's Adrian Osmundo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chavarría's goalie prevented a goal. Paolo Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Firman having to interfere.

Paolo Moise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Haritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Carnerito's Alejo Caradaro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Paolo Sauveur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fulgencio Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paolo Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Victorio Xacintu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Carnerito's Victorio Xacintu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Carnerito's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Sauveur came free, but Fulgencio Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Paolo Sauveur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fulgencio Firman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Paolo Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Paolo Sauveur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Chavarría getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Geronimo Mikeldi hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chavarría had played much better football throughout.
