Santiago Martxel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when InterPlaya's Rolando Sanchez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Santiago Martxel came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by InterPlaya's Rolando Sanchez. But to his dismay, Rolando Sanchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Herauso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Martxel. Humaitá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Herauso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to InterPlaya getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Desiderio Marko hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Rolando Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Martxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakut Arslanoğlu having to interfere. Rolando Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Dominic was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, one of InterPlaya:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for InterPlaya. Sixto Pitin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 49th minute, Rolando Sanchez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santiago Martxel. The goal made the score 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Sanchez to make the kick off. Maximino Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Yakut Arslanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Desiderio Marko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. InterPlaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Humaitá the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in InterPlaya fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Genaro Burutzagi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Rolando Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, InterPlaya's Yakut Arslanoğlu got control of the ball when Maximino Medero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remigio Todor scored 6-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Martxel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venancio Roldan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes, Rolando Sanchez made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Humaitá's Santiago Martxel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luciano Tano charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Tano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes InterPlaya got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Tano. Gustavo Gartzea kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The supporters of Humaitá booed when InterPlaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. InterPlaya were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Humaitá for a fine match.
