Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baldomiro Guib took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Guib's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casimiro Geleberto was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After having played for 15 minutes, Bruno Quin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Quin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Cristobal Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Erruki to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Guib recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 played minutes Malvinas got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Reyes. Bruno Quin might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Geleberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Quin ran back to his position shaking his head. Casimiro Geleberto made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Bruno Quin sent off a good shot on target. When Bruno Quin came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Escalada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Quin couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Bruno Quin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Bruno Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Guib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Casimiro Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximiliano Lizar to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Abancens during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabio Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Lizar in the 57th minute of play. When Baldomiro Guib came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Escalada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Guib couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Lizar's late challenge caught a Escalada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Lizar helped the player get up and apologised. Maximiliano Lizar kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, one of Malvinas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filomeno Oihenarte shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 71st minute Bruno Quin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Geleberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Osoitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Iago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomiro Guib in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Geleberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baldomiro Guib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Geleberto having to interfere. The Escalada fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Escalada's Baldomiro Guib looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Malvinas's Maximiliano Lizar got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Maximiliano Lizar off the ground. The supporters of Escalada booed when Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Guib in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Geleberto saved Malvinas from getting behind. Malvinas succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Escalada had controlled the match.
