Xoloitzcuintle's Cayetano Ariando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Xoloitzcuintle from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Bidun to make the kick off. Uriel Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Erubiel Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Alfonso Bidun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jonathan Chucho fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SacaLasWamas FC's protests and gave Jonathan Chucho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, one of SacaLasWamas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SacaLasWamas FC. When Xoloitzcuintle's Jaime Corderall in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SacaLasWamas FC's goalie prevented a goal. SacaLasWamas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
