Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eloy Cugat kicked off to start the match. The Mariño fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Mariño's Urbano Olivar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Wilfredo Quirze scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Gaskon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariño's goalkeeper Elias Gaskon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfredo Quirze might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Gaskon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbano Olivar to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Olivar in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Erlantz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Berriotxoa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ivan Berriotxoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Remigio Erlantz made a huge save. Remigio Erlantz made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ivan Berriotxoa sent off a good shot on target. Mariño's Elias Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Quirze in the 97th minute of play.
