Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruben Jakes started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Cruz Azul getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Joaquin Cordareo hit a great ball. Vinicio Rami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Desiderio Berbiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anselmo Elixio. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Humberto Ferran came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruz Azul's Marquinhos Eger. But to his dismay, Marquinhos Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 16th match minute, MAGUSIN F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Rami to maneuver through the defense. With 22 minutes on the clock, Severiano Tercero commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Severiano Tercero kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Vinicio Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAGUSIN F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Rami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Elixio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Humberto Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Ferran having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Feliberto Azibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Feliciano Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in MAGUSIN F.C.'s zone, Joaquin Cordareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Ferran came out of the goal and Joaquin Cordareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marquinhos Eger made the kick off in the second half. Marquinhos Egers short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Humberto Ferran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 53rd minute, Marquinhos Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Desiderio Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAGUSIN F.C.'s Humberto Ferran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save MAGUSIN F.C. from getting a goal against them. Cruz Azul's Marquinhos Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Desiderio Berbiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, MAGUSIN F.C.'s Humberto Ferran got control of the ball when Feliciano Enmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Azibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cruz Azul's Feliciano Enmanuel got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ruben Jakes notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cruz Azul's Anselmo Elixio. Anselmo Elixio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Feliberto Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 80 minutes of play, MAGUSIN F.C.'s Feliberto Azibar made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Elixio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damaso Valiente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Humberto Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cruz Azul's Joaquin Cordareo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Ferran made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Feliciano Enmanuel sent off a good shot on target. Humberto Ferran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marquinhos Eger in the 92nd minute. The MAGUSIN F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
