Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cosme Bidun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Camilo Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CHETUMAL FC's Mario Salvator got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CHETUMAL FC's zone, Camilo Nesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Karmel came out of the goal and Camilo Nesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Tano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Constantino Karmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Bidun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Bidun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Karmel having to interfere. Cosme Bidun might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Karmel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Bidun ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Constantino Karmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, CHETUMAL FC's Arsenio Cai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Eusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cosme Bidun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapachito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Bidun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lapachito AFC's Camilo Nesor got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Karmel was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Cosme Bidun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cosme Bidun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Camilo Nesor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Constantino Karmel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes into the match, CHETUMAL FC's Rodrigo Gai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Eusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Cosme Bidun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lapachito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Cosme Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Nesor got free with Constantino Karmel in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Gai made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Lapachito AFC's zone, Rodrigo Gai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Eusko came out of the goal and Rodrigo Gai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CHETUMAL FC's Mario Salvator suffered a concussion after 53 minutes and had to leave the field. Ramiro Birjaio's late challenge caught a CHETUMAL FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Birjaio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lapachito AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ramiro Birjaio hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Nesor in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Karmel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Bidun in the 64th minute of play. Camilo Nesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes of play, Lapachito AFC's Cosme Bidun made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Karmel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th match minute, Lapachito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Cai got free with Dionisio Eusko in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of CHETUMAL FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lapachito AFC:s goal. When Ramiro Birjaio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Lapachito AFC's Ramiro Birjaio got a free kick in the 88th minute. Lapachito AFC's Cosme Bidun got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If David Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lapachito AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
