Robles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Jusepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Correcaminos's Hilario Cesario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Correcaminos from getting a goal against them. After 12 played minutes Correcaminos got a freekick which was hit by Justino Henrico. Benjamin Unax struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Hilario Cesario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robles AFC. A collision led to Correcaminos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Efrain Rainerio hit a great ball. Marcial Rolado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Remigio Cordera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Correcaminos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Robles AFC the free kick. In the 34th minute, Remigio Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Jusepe let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 35th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. 40 minutes into the game, Correcaminos's Gaston Chan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonzo Ferdinand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alonzo Ferdinand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Rolado, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With a little luck, Correcaminos's Hilario Cesario got control of the ball when Benjamin Unax tried to sneak it across the goal line.

If Benjamin Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Unax might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilario Cesario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Unax ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ruben Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robles AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Jusepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Cesario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
