Domingo Alvarez came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ampacama's Octavio Paz. But to his dismay, Octavio Paz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Octavio Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Domingo Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Alvarez having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Ampacama's Niceto Pedroso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Alvarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Artizar to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Francesco during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodolfo Francesco hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Ampacama's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Francho came free, but Siro Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Santo Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Santo Francho notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ampacama's Siro Bordat. Siro Bordat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th match minute, Ampacama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. If Octavio Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ampacama's Octavio Paz got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmitas AFC's goalkeeper Domingo Alvarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Palmitas AFC booed when Ampacama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Octavio Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Paz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Domingo Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampacama.
