After having played for 26 minutes, Nereo Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceibas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Tohias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Alfredo Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Balesio having to interfere. If Elvio Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Claudio Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Balesio having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Ignatius to make the kick off. Gavino Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Gómez AFC booed when Ceibas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Erauso during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Gómez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Erauso. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
