Dionisio Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Frutos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Herauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. When Diego Guillerme fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munro's protests and gave Diego Guillerme a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Munro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Cirilo Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Niguel in the 17th minute of play. Justino Herensuge struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dionisio Herauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munro. In the 24th minute Bernardino Colas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Herauso having to interfere. Justino Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dionisio Herauso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Frutos went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dionisio Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Frutos to strike the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dionisio Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Herensuge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Octavio Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvariño's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Froylan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severiano Gartzen succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 81st minute, Conrado Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Munro's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Gartzen came free, but Cirilo Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Justino Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Alvariño's zone, Conrado Vimaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Herauso came out of the goal and Conrado Vimaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Herensuge who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Dionisio Herauso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Munro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
