If Erubiel Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Mochis's Lucio Virila got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucio Virila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rigoberto Jerrold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Emeterio scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Olentzaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Aurelio Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Lorien in the 19th minute of play forced Los Mochis's goalkeeper Ermegildo Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Olentzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Olentzaro came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Black Dragons F.C's Aurelio Chesus. But to his dismay, Aurelio Chesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ermegildo Olentzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Black Dragons F.C got a corner. Los Mochis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albino Ferrer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Albino Ferrer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ermegildo Olentzaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute, Los Mochis's Lucio Virila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Arnulfo Lorien succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Karlo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Olentzaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rigoberto Jerrold was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucio Virila showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 44 minute of play. After the first half Black Dragons F.C were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Ciro Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Los Mochis's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Chesus came free, but Ermegildo Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Chesus in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Olentzaro saved Los Mochis from getting behind. Lucio Virila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ciro Karmel fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Mochis's protests and gave Ciro Karmel a yellow card for diving instead. Ciro Karmel hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ermegildo Olentzaro was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Dario Karlo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dario Karlo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Froilan Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ermegildo Olentzaro made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Arnulfo Lorien sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Emeterio got free with Ermegildo Olentzaro in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelio Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ermegildo Olentzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Los Mochis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Karmel to maneuver through the defense. Los Mochis's Ermegildo Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Chesus in the 88th minute of play. Ermegildo Olentzaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Emeterio in the 93rd minute.
