Real Union FC's Amador Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Eneto in the 12th minute of play. Rafael Amato didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Real Union FC's Maximino Ibar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 16th match minute, Lobos BUAP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Almeida in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Amato saved Lobos BUAP from getting behind. In the 19th minute Maximino Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Amato was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Rafael Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Almeida in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lobos BUAP defense, Jacinto Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Amato. The Lobos BUAP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Amato should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Ibar in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Amato saved Lobos BUAP from getting behind. The Lobos BUAP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Union FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Eneto to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Maximino Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Union FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Ibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximino Ibar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximino Ibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Amato having to interfere. Rafael Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Lobos BUAP's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maximino Ibar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maximino Ibar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Amato having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Marciano Danel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Amador Geofredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacinto Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Amato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. Amador Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Gaskon in the 89th minute of the match. Real Union FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
