In the 34th match minute, esgar soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Barros to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Celestino Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. esgar soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Txaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Guaberto Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, FC Bayer Munchen's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Shepherd came free, but Hector Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Shepherd made a kick off. A collision led to esgar soccer getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tobias Reyes hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Guaberto Shepherd got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. It was beautiful to see esgar soccer's Salvador Nardo in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 75 minutes of play, esgar soccer's Lázaro Ramond made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Dalmai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guaberto Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Dalmai having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Benigno Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Milio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Francisco Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Bayer Munchen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. esgar soccer were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
