With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Canor in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Fortun saved Glendaz from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Pilar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Asier came free, but Cirilo Manex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Vistruario in the 12th minute of play. Cirilo Manex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Asier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes, Glendaz's Isaac Ticho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cirilo Manex came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glendaz reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Pilar AFC's zone, Enzo Vistruario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Manex came out of the goal and Enzo Vistruario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirilo Manex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Vistruario in the 21st minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Venancio Rainerio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Glendaz's Horacio Fortun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Glendaz from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Glendaz booed when Pilar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Etxekopar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Manex didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Asier went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Enzo Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Enzo Vistruario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Cirilo Manex was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roberto Canor struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Horacio Fortun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilar AFC. The supporters of Pilar AFC booed when Glendaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 52nd minute Roberto Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Fortun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Pilar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Vistruario came free, but Cirilo Manex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glendaz were furious when Paulino Feliu was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Glendaz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pilar AFC:s goal. 72 minutes into the game, Glendaz's Guaberto Tano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Manex made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. In the 76th minute of the match Isaac Ticho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cirilo Manex showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Isaac Ticho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glendaz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilar AFC the free kick. A collision led to Glendaz getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Isaac Ticho hit a great ball. Horacio Fortun came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilar AFC's Raimundo Ferman. But to his dismay, Raimundo Ferman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. Venancio Rainerio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cirilo Manex. Pilar AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albano Deunoro struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Cirilo Manex didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glendaz. When Guaberto Tano came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Glendaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Tano couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Glendaz could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pilar AFC throughout the match.
