Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eustacio Frasco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fidel Raphael kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Nihuil AFC booed when Spurr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Raphael hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Simon Elija charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Elija the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Spurr got a freekick which was hit by Simon Elija. After having played for 17 minutes, Eulalio Jordy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nihuil AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Jordy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emanuel Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Jakue having to interfere. Eulalio Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Jakue having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Spurr's zone, Eustacio Frasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Jakue came out of the goal and Eustacio Frasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Jordy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Gaizko was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Elija in the 53rd minute of play forced Nihuil AFC's goalkeeper Aristides Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nihuil AFC's Eustacio Frasco got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Elvio Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Frasco in the 73rd minute of the match. Eulalio Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Jakue having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 80th minute when Elvio Gaizko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Simon Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 96 minutes, Gabriel Tonio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nihuil AFC and the Spurr players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Spurr support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
