Guido Luken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rufio Argudin went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rufio Argudin was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Rufio Argudin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayados del Monterrey CFM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rufio Argudin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Jatsu in the 59th minute of play forced Sumampa FC's goalkeeper Guido Luken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Luken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufio Argudin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Rayados del Monterrey CFM getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arnulfo Guillen hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Rayados del Monterrey CFM got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Eboli. Sumampa FC's Guido Luken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Euloxu in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Eboli in the 80th minute of play forced Sumampa FC's goalkeeper Guido Luken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Modestio got free with Alberto Bartoleme in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Alberto Bartoleme successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 88th minute, Rufio Argudin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Jatsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Luken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Jatsu ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rufio Argudin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Rayados del Monterrey CFM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
