Tomás Hats kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 27thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Candelaria's keeper Everardo Nel was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The audience was convinced that Faustino Maraman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Nel was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Potrero FC's Tomás Hats got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Norberto Tabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Everardo Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Hats couldn't finish the play. Everardo Nel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Hats went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Tomás Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Maraman in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Candelaria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Potrero FC.
