The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isaias Aznar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Cristobal Inocente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caitaco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aerolito AFC the free kick. In the 12th minute Ovidio Hondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ovidio Hondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caitaco FC's Rafael Orlondon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Donato Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Caitaco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Aznar couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes, Efrain Thomas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Caitaco FC's Rafael Orlondon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Caitaco FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aerolito AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Sugoi was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Orlondon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Thomas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Ovidio Hondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Aznar struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nemesio Odol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caitaco FC. Aerolito AFC's Nemesio Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Sugoi in the 61st minute of play. Nemesio Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Aerolito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Montes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Caitaco FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gaspar Tirso hit a great ball. With a little luck, Caitaco FC's Rafael Orlondon got control of the ball when Ovidio Hondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caitaco FC's Nereo Hernando got a free kick in the 84th minute. Nemesio Odol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Sugoi in the 91st minute of the match. Ovidio Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Orlondon having to interfere. With a little luck, Caitaco FC's Rafael Orlondon got control of the ball when Ovidio Hondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aerolito AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
