Martin Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Marcones in the 4th minute of the match. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Runciman's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Nel came free, but Victorio Castulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Marcones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Benvide having to interfere. Luisito Ariando's late challenge caught a Niedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
