After 2 played minutes Cuervo FC got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Emeterio. 5 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Ugaitz came free, but Pastor Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cienega FC booed when Cuervo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Vistruario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Chepe in the 9th minute of play forced Cuervo FC's goalkeeper Pastor Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Cuervo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Chepe in the 11th minute of play. Lucio Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Vistruario having to interfere. A collision led to Cienega FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lucio Ugaitz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cuervo FC's Godfredo Bemabe got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 26th minute Eulalio Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Herauso hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Lucio Ugaitz scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Vistruario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Melquiades Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Emeterio got free with Albano Cortez in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 minutes of play, Cienega FC's Eulalio Chepe made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Vistruario was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Ugaitz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Lucio Ugaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pastor Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Ugaitz in the 57th minute of the match. Albano Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guaberto Herauso's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Bartolome got free with Pastor Vistruario in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgilio Lidon kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Godfredo Bemabe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuervo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cienega FC the free kick. After 66 played minutes Cuervo FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Bemabe. Eulalio Chepe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pastor Vistruario firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cienega FC's zone, Guaberto Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Cortez came out of the goal and Guaberto Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godfredo Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Donato Nastasio scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Pastor Vistruario who was too lazy, 0-3. Pastor Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Bartolome in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goalkeeper Pastor Vistruario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Chepe. Guaberto Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Albano Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Cortez having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Cienega FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Lore to maneuver through the defense. Cienega FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
