The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Ostots got free with Narciso Ulizes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Azubeli during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of España AFC booed when Chicligasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Justino Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, España AFC's Narciso Ulizes threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Justino Goi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as España AFC's Justino Goi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Ulizes. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Goi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Ulizes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Chicligasta FC's goalkeeper Narciso Ulizes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Ostots. After a rather tough play, España AFC's Roque Aimar got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Karlo in the 25th minute of play forced España AFC's goalkeeper Adan Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Inocente hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Cebrian in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Lauren saved España AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Chicligasta FC booed when España AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Ganix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Justino Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Chicligasta FC's Matias Cebrian made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adan Lauren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adan Lauren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Cebrian in the 40th minute of the match. If Clodoveo Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. España AFC's Adan Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Cebrian in the 44th minute of play. If Angelo Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Cebrian to make the kick off. Adan Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Cebrian in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, España AFC's Alvaro Millano got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Chicligasta FC's Matias Cebrian in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chicligasta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Cebrian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Angelo Ostots cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Narciso Ulizes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 62 minutes on the clock, Santiago Lixandro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chicligasta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Narciso Ulizes had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Virgilio Gomez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Narciso Ulizes came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by España AFC's Virgilio Gomez. But to his dismay, Virgilio Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Narciso Ulizes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Ostots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, España AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elvio Bermudo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roque Aimar charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Aimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of España AFC booed when Chicligasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Ostots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Ulizes having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Justino Goi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that España AFC were the better team. España AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
