Tunal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cervantes AFC the free kick. In the 4th minute, one of Tunal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tunal. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Cervantes AFC. Tadeo Cordarrol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Augusto Urko. 0-1. Arturo Corderro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Cristo Salamon made a huge save. Tunal's Augusto Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Pelagius in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Jimeno Eleder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Tunal's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Eleder came free, but Augusto Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Delmiro Pelagius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cervantes AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Augusto Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Pelagius in the 34th minute of the match.

If Arturo Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Corderro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Salamon having to interfere. When Isidoro Bide fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cervantes AFC's protests and gave Isidoro Bide a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoro Bide hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Corderro in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Salamon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristo Salamon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes, Haroldo Eguen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cervantes AFC and the Tunal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haroldo Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Arturo Corderro made a precise shot to the right of Cristo Salamon. Cervantes AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After 74 played minutes Tunal got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Grabiel. Cervantes AFC's Delmiro Pelagius got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Pelagius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Urko having to make a save. Jimeno Eleder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 82 in the game by Delmiro Pelagius from a close distance when the talented Augusto Urko managed to make a qualified save. Tunal's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Cervantes AFC's Ariel Hechter got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Cervantes AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Isidoro Bide hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Tunal's Casimiro Venceslas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cristo Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Felipillo in the 91st minute of the match. If Teodosio Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cervantes AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
