Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Abadia in the 4th minute of play forced Orcosuni FC's goalkeeper Angel Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Turi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Angel Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Grande Valley FC's Ernst Prommersberger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Grande Valley FC from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Jacobo Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Prommersberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Prommersberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Horacio Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Grande Valley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Abadia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacobo Rodriguez to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, one of Rio Grande Valley FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rio Grande Valley FC. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Orcosuni FC. Augusto Ubelteso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernst Prommersberger. 1-0. Angel Santiago made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Horacio Abadia sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Jacobo Rodriguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernst Prommersberger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Orcosuni FC's Angel Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Chayo in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Samuel Errapel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Grande Valley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orcosuni FC the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Rio Grande Valley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Errapel to maneuver through the defense. Guido Blasco hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Horacio Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rio Grande Valley FC's Horacio Abadia got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Rio Grande Valley FC booed when Orcosuni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Ubelteso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Orcosuni FC had won after a very even match.
