Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iker Ostargi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th match minute, Recoleta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Merexildo to maneuver through the defense. Ascensión's Uriel Dimas got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Aurken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Bertran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Aurken in the 14th minute of the match. Iker Ostargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Bertran having to interfere. Teobaldo Bertran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Ostargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Ascensión's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Aurken came free, but Teobaldo Bertran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Herminio Ekaitz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Herminio Ekaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Pablo Enetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Recoleta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ascensión the free kick. Iker Ostargi struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Teobaldo Bertran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recoleta AFC. If Raul Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iker Ostargi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Recoleta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Ostargi couldn't finish the play. Raul Aurken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Aurken made a kick off. Faustino Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Manuel Luix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Luix having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Recoleta AFC's Faustino Cresitobalo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. If Herminio Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Bertran made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Iker Ostargi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ascensión booed when Recoleta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Herminio Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Recoleta AFC's goalkeeper Manuel Luix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Recoleta AFC defense, Faustino Rexino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Luix. The Recoleta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Luix should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Raul Aurken fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ascensión's Teobaldo Bertran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Aurken in the 87th minute of play. Recoleta AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
