An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Madeo in the 14th minute of play forced Alejandro AFC's goalkeeper Hernan Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alejandro AFC's Edgard Oihenarte in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Teobaldo Bertran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Oihenarte in the 40th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Ascensión's Ezequiel Lartaun seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ezequiel Lartaun the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ascensión protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ezequiel Lartaun had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ascensión! The goalkeeper, Teobaldo Bertran, was totally fooled by Alejandro AFC's Anier Totakoxe, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 84th minute, Edgard Oihenarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Edgard Maiorga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ascensión's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alejandro AFC the free kick. A collision led to Ascensión getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Edgard Maiorga hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Ascensión's goalkeeper Teobaldo Bertran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Oihenarte. After 92 minutes, Adan Madeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ascensión and the Alejandro AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 minutes, Edgard Oihenarte made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Ascensión's Teobaldo Bertran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alejandro AFC's Edgard Oihenarte was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 99th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alejandro AFC played a much better game than Ascensión and deserved their victory. The Ascensión players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
