Candido Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Mercurio in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Virgilio Dolfos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Destello Espacial F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panacán AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Destello Espacial F.C.'s Virgilio Dolfos got a free kick in the 18th minute. Candido Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Mercurio in the 21st minute of play. Fernando Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alper Uğurlubay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Placido Tino having to make a save. After 25 played minutes Panacán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Mercurio. Candido Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Castulo in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Panacán AFC's zone, Romeo Marincean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Tino came out of the goal and Romeo Marincean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Marincean in the 30th minute of the match. Fernando Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Tino having to interfere. Panacán AFC's Placido Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Marincean in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Rolando Mercurio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the El Destello Espacial F.C. defense, Inocencio Castulo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Hibai. The El Destello Espacial F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Hibai should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Panacán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Marincean came free, but Placido Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Txilar in the 64th minute of play. Romeo Marincean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Tino having to interfere. El Destello Espacial F.C.'s İnanç Balcıoğlu was substituted for Romeo Marincean. Fernando Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Placido Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Panacán AFC's goalkeeper Placido Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, Panacán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, El Destello Espacial F.C.'s Fernando Txilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Placido Tino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Panacán AFC's zone, İnanç Balcıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Tino came out of the goal and İnanç Balcıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İnanç Balcıoğlu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Virgilio Dolfos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in El Destello Espacial F.C.'s zone, Inocencio Castulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Hibai came out of the goal and Inocencio Castulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that İnanç Balcıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Tino was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Placido Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İnanç Balcıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
