Isthilart's Rene Madaleno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Isthilart from getting a goal against them. Nemesio Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Isthilart's zone, Venancio Mannuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Madaleno came out of the goal and Venancio Mannuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Chicago Blackhawks's Alfredo Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Piorno in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Venancio Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chicago Blackhawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Mannuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Madaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carmelo Manilan struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rene Madaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicago Blackhawks. Carmelo Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rene Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Chicago Blackhawks's Venancio Mannuel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Madaleno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Tomás Monico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chicago Blackhawks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isthilart the free kick. 40 minutes into the game, one of Chicago Blackhawks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Isthilart a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jacobo Abaunza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chicago Blackhawks's Alfredo Gaizkine. 0-3. After the first half Isthilart were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute of the match, Nemesio Canor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredo Gaizkine was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arnoldo Paulin charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Paulin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chicago Blackhawks's Arnoldo Paulin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Alfredo Gaizkine made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Nemesio Canor sent off a good shot on target. Chicago Blackhawks's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ulises Piorno 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Piorno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Gaizkine. That made the score 0-5 in the 59 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Piorno in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Gaizkine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Gaizkine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Canor in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Nemesio Canor made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Gaizkine. Chicago Blackhawks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After having played for 72 minutes, Nemesio Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isthilart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Canor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Abaunza hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Venancio Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Piorno in the 86th minute of play forced Chicago Blackhawks's goalkeeper Alfredo Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nemesio Canor could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Alfredo Gaizkine however easily saved by the left post. Alfredo Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Piorno, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Nemesio Canor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Gaizkine. Chicago Blackhawks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Canor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The Isthilart supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Isthilart would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
