Evelio Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Rafel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rolando Inautzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Alonso in the 19th minute of play. Leonel Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vela AFC's Horacio Alonso got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rolando Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Fabricio Oskitzs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Rolando Inautzi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fabricio Oskitz struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Rolando Inautzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vela AFC. Evelio Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Rafel in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horacio Alonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horacio Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Inocente having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, Jaramillo AFC's Luis Marin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evelio Inocente was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Horacio Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vela AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Alonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Inautzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabricio Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jaramillo AFC's Hernan Ramos got a free kick in the 74th minute. Horacio Alonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arnoldo Frans fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaramillo AFC's protests and gave Arnoldo Frans a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jaramillo AFC's Arnoldo Frans got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Fabricio Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vela AFC's goalkeeper Evelio Inocente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Marin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Evelio Inocente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sebastian Orain hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sebastian Orain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
