Roque Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Feliberto Gabrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Anier Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Serapio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Andres Hulberto made the kick off in the second half. Roque Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. When Hugo Orlo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encón's protests and gave Hugo Orlo a yellow card for diving instead. 73 minutes into the game, one of Encón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Anier Leizarraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Victor Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, LOS PAVOTES DE FUEGO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Indar to maneuver through the defense. Encón's Hugo Orlo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LOS PAVOTES DE FUEGO FC. 95 minutes into the match, LOS PAVOTES DE FUEGO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Hulberto came free, but Feliberto Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Umea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Andres Hulberto came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Encón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Hulberto couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Encón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LOS PAVOTES DE FUEGO FC.
