Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) RAYOS FC's Norberto Tajo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Saturnino Jerold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Edgardo Tallia made a huge save. Leonides Joseph's late challenge caught a RAYOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Joseph helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Cayanta got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Joseph. In the 13thth minute of the game Norberto Tajo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cayanta's Fabricio Ferrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillermo Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fabricio Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Rocio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Edgardo Tallia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayanta. Serafin Rocio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Tallia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RAYOS FC's Elias Mateus got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ramon Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Tallia having to interfere. Serafin Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Edgardo Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Sebastian Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAYOS FC and the Cayanta players grew even worse after the yellow card.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Argoitz made a kick off. 66 minutes into the match, RAYOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Rocio came free, but Edgardo Tallia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cayanta booed when RAYOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clemente Sendoa fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RAYOS FC's protests and gave Clemente Sendoa a yellow card for diving instead. Clemente Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Guillermo Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAYOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Nataniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Edgardo Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Serafin Rocio sped through RAYOS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgardo Tallia. Emiliano Ipar hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The long shot by Siro Tohias in the 82nd minute really tested Fabricio Ferrando's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. RAYOS FC's Edgardo Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Argoitz in the 85th minute of play. When Cayanta's Serafin Rocio in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RAYOS FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fabricio Ferrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Tajo in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Cayanta getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Emiliano Ipar hit a great ball. RAYOS FC's Guillermo Nataniel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayanta's goalkeeper Fabricio Ferrando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
