The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Breogan got free with Everardo Costante in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Baldomiro Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Breogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Everardo Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristian Uhin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Costante was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Uhin in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Costante saved Anguilan AFC from getting behind. When Bernardino Santio came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Anguilan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Santio couldn't finish the play. Los Renegados's Amador Breogan pulled a muscle in his leg after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Leonardo Gilesindo's late challenge caught a Los Renegados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Gilesindo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, one of Anguilan AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Anguilan AFC. Everardo Costante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Uhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Costante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Uhin's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Los Renegados's Cristian Uhin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Costante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the game, Jorge Chiellini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Renegados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anguilan AFC the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Uhin made a kick off. Victor Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Cristian Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Everardo Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Chiellini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Santio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Anguilan AFC's Serafin Soin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Ove Abrahamsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Everardo Costante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Uhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Los Renegados's zone, Serafin Soin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Ove Abrahamsson came out of the goal and Serafin Soin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Soin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Sven-Ove Abrahamsson made a huge save. 85 minutes into the game, Victor Olayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Renegados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anguilan AFC the free kick. A collision led to Los Renegados getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Victor Olayo hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Cristian Uhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Renegados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Uhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Los Renegados were the better team. Los Renegados's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
