In the 21st minute of the match Erasmo Ramirez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Alonso skillfully saved the ball. Enzo Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jaime Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Alonso having to interfere. Pastor Alonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Lawrence went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Juancho AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
