In the 13th minute David Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Onofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ubaldo Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Pehuajó FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when David Salamon 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Antonio Corderun charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Corderun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antonio Corderun hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Rogelio Onofre made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Aquiles Pierres sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, Feliberto Baraquiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merceditas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pehuajó FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Merceditas FC's Feliberto Baraquiel got a free kick in the 28th minute. Constantino Cheche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Veto having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Constantino Cheche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merceditas FC's Flavio Veto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The long shot by Froilan Ceandro in the 40th minute really tested Rogelio Onofre's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Flavio Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Salamon made a kick off. A collision led to Merceditas FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tomás Maore hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Gualterio Frasco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Merceditas FC's Flavio Veto didn't even have to move. If Constantino Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pehuajó FC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Pehuajó FC's Edelmiro Emeterio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 71st minute David Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Onofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When David Salamon came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Merceditas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Salamon couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes, Edelmiro Emeterio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pehuajó FC and the Merceditas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pehuajó FC's Edelmiro Emeterio got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Pierres in the 92nd minute of play forced Pehuajó FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Onofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Onofre having to interfere. Pehuajó FC's Rogelio Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Salamon in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Pehuajó FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merceditas FC.
